How big actually is the tank he's in & who are his tank mates? Read the GSP article in our Library. Same care & feeding, just grows a bit bigger & needs larger tank.

it's in a 30 gallon freshwater tank.
Critters in the tank:
Five Minnow
1 Guppy Pair
One Pleco
Five Ghost Shrimp
One Crayfish

now, i know you people will freak out after seeing that there is a crayfish in the tank. Well, he was the one that murdered my South American Puffer T.T he will be donated to my biology teacher who has nothing in his classroom aquarium. xD
the crayfish right now is actually in the tank next to the puffer's tank. Hes in the alligator gar tank bwahahahahaha.

ahh... right now my puffer is chasing the fish all over the place... i heard they were peaceful though

Nope, definitely not. Puffers are big time fin nippers. Also I'm surprised your cray is still alive. Also GSPs need high brackish to full marine when full grown.
I'd either rehouse the other fish or rehouse the GSP. How big is he?

Definately need to rethink the BW thing, for your other inhabitants. They're not going to like the salt at all & your puffer needs lots of it.

the puffer is a little bigger than the sap that was eaten. it is a little over an inch. the SAP was the one that was crazy and yet he was always scared of the crayfish. this new guy here isnt very deadly but he attacks the crayfish

yeah, I have fiddlers in with my puffers and the fiddlers are scared of my puffers.

...it may have something to do with their missing legs... but that's what they are in there for.
