Well, I found another "pufferlover" here in my country, and we discussed a lot about F8. But you'll not believe... I was telling him what you've taught me about puffers. OMG, he keeps one puffer in a FW tank with cichlids, just measuring PH once in a while (BTW, PH 7
)and he has two more F8s that he will try to breed them in the future . I mentioned in another topic how hard it has been for me to find a F8, so I thought he could help me to do it... and I told him also that my puffer died after 25 days... So he began to say what he does to keep his "healthy" F8:Food:
-brineshrimp (THE staple food)
-ground meat
-large Italian sausage
-dead fish;
Keep them in FW at neutral (7) PH and that's all, because they ARE hardy fish!!!
His fish has lived this way for one year and a half and it's still alive. And everything I learnt here and tried to say that could improve his fish livespam seems to sound like walrus and he said I should not trust in everything I read (but this IS the right place - PUFFER FORUM) - OMG, I cant' believe... But how could he trust me if my F8 just lived for 25 days and he keeps his for 1.5 year??? This whole thing was unbelievable!!!
