My little brother wanted to name him Jimmy Hendrix, but I want to name him Jim or Clyve.

A friend owned a bar that had a pond with Chinese algae eaters in there. About 3 in one pond, and 2 in the other. (rather small ponds actually, and yes, real ponds)

They were HUGE!

So Chin, how's your little puffer doing? Are you planing to get others to give him company?
Got time to take pictures yet? That's if he's not too camera shy! For some reason they seem to *know* that the camera will take picture! One of mine sees the camera and runs to hiding! lol

He made it through the night! I am going to try and get some pictures of him today but like I said he is really really tiny. Like the size of a pea, maybe smaller. He seems to be enjoying the environment I set up for him. Does anyone know the growth rate on them?

Good to hear he's doing ok!
As for the growth rate, mine grew between 2/8 and 1/2 of an inche in 2 months. The biggest one grew steadily from the begining. The other 2 had a first growth spur afer the first IP treatment and a second one after the third IP treatment. Since then they are all growing steadily.
Is he eating?

He is eating well. Seems to be very interested in what I am doing when I am in the kitchen. (where his tank is) I think he is going to pull through.

Not yet. Seeing as you can sex them I think I am going to wait until I find out if it's a male or female. Until then he is just another lovechop.
