four gsp's

what is the smallest tank you can keep four gsp's they all come from same tank from lfs so no figthing i have them a week now they came from fw but im changing them to bw how slow should i chang over rite now my sg is 1.012 and they are doin fine did i rush that

GSP's require aprox 30 gallons per fish. Here is some info about brackish tanks: http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/vie ... f=8&t=1658

From what I have read the change to brackish should be very gradual.

If they are juvies, you can start them in a 40-55g tank, until they are 2". Then I'd go for a 120g for them.

I have 2 GSP's in a 120 Gallon :lol:. I had them in a 44 gallon for about 2 months. They are 3 & 3.5 inches and still have no aggression with them. I thought about getting 2 more but decided aganist it. Mine also started out in freshwater and I raised the salt .001 - .002 a week. If you read pufferpunks article it has really great information about gsp's. Good luck with your new puffers.

S/He has two GSPs, so I'm guessing s/he's saying one is 3 inches and the other is 3.5 inches. :P
