iv noticed with my suvatti

Post by matt28781 »

i dropped 2 apple snails in a few days ago and he wasn't interested even when they was on top of him. now when i woke the next morning they was in there shell hiding (so i thought) actually on further inspection he had bitten their flesh off and left them upside down all over the sand (still alive believe it or not) anyway i turned the lights of early last night only to discover hes coming alive at night and durng the day he hides in the sand. i didn't think they was hunters.or night time fish strange. so interesting how he left the snails just left them to suffer when he could quite easy kill them. as the snails are still alive iv putt hem in my 15gal to recover and i hope to breed them for a food source. i just thought it was cool how he was coming alive at night to hunt for food and wanted to share my story.

thank you.

Happy New Year :D

My miurus doesn't touch snails.
