For all those Baileyi (hairy puffer) owners

Post by puff_love »

Hello just a few questions for you. What kind of substrate, and plants are best for this puffer? Also mine is only about 2.5 inches maybe 2.8, and was wonder what you might have fed your puffer and how often? This is my first baileyi i had a humback puffer but i moved from north carolina to california and couldnt bring with me. I only had that fish about 2 months. Ive had my Hairy puffer for about 3 days now and he/she is still swimming against the glass up and down. Any suggestions?

I think they like caves--a flowerpot on it's side should do. Check the feeding article in our Library.
