Feeding a F8

hey, so right now i'm feeding my f8 half a krill every other day and thats all he seems to want...from what i'm seeing here thats not how i should be doing it...anyone who has an f8 could you help me out and share your feeding schedule?

I'd get him off krill. Seems to lead to nutritional problems in some puffers, and definately leads to lockjaw in porcupine puffers. I feed smaller puffers mostly blackworms, but some bloodworms and snails, and larger ones mostly earthworms, but some bloodworms, blackworms, and snails.

there is a good feeding article in the library -- i feed mine mainly snails, but also include bits of prawn (with the shell on), cockle, mysis shrimp, and only the occasional krill or bloodworms

from what ive heard krill can be like puffer crack and it can get hard to get them off of it , so the sooner the better --

My F8 started to eat snails already found in my tank.. now it's over, i've tried some fish, but he refused. Today I tested some freeze dried bloodworms (Tetra -http://www.tetra-fish.com/sites/tetrafi ... 276&cid=42), I don't know what's matter with him but he loved them!!! And I felt some kind of frustration, 'cause I wanted to see him eatting something "cool", until I gave him one shrimp and he ate a lot!!

Too bad feeding puffer with this tetra stuff?
