Are they different DPs? and can they breed?

I have 4 DPs but they are all of different colour and spot patterns. Does this mean they are different types of DP's? And would they be able to breed?

Are you sure they are all DPs? A picture would help us answer you better.

As for breeding, DPs have been know to breed without the owner having to do much about it! Here's a good website about it:

Still DP's there are slight variations from different regions.

I think different batches from different suppliers all have slightly different spot patterns, depending on the original puffers in their breeding pens.

Do you think they can/will breed? And if so, or if not, how long before do they usually breed? In other words, when do they reach their breeding maturity?

If they're as small as they look, first they need to grow up. Figure once they are over an inch long including tail, they're breeding age. Second, they need to want to, so you need boys and girls, and them not to hate each other. You also need java moss for them to lay eggs in, they don't spawn in the open.
