Re: porky puffer teeth?
Porks are Diodon puffers - two teeth, as opposed to Tetraodon, four toothed. They don't seem to have as much beak growth, and as a result, the teeth are less visible and overgrowth is less likely.

Re: porky puffer teeth?
I have never seen a problem with diodons with overgrown beak....just not physically/anatomically possible.

The most common, and probably best suited for living in an aquarium would be Diodon holocanthus, the common porcupine puffer. Another option would be the Diodon hystrix, although they are not very well suited for aquarium life because they get huge (up to 3ft).

At least 22 species in the family Diodontidae. Have a look here:

Re: porky puffer teeth?
Do the teeth self-wear since they meet so evenly? I've been wondering exactly why the two toothed puffers don't seem to ever overgrow.
