dwarf puffers
hi, i'm fairly new at this whole puffer thing. i bought a fahaka puffer from my lfs to go in my 3ft tank. obviously realised major upgrade needed. so there is gonna be a 3ft tank going spare in my house. saw some dwarf puffers in a local store and think they're real cute. how many can i have in a 3ft by 1 ft tank. i know they need a heavily planted tank, what ratio of male/female would be good for that size tank?

2 or 3 females to 1 male is good but to be honest your chances of sexing them unless they are adult size is going to be almost impossible. Best bet is to but the amount that the tank will support going on the rule of 1 DP per 3-5 gallons and see how they get on.
