Acclimating gsp, to 1.021 SG, how long to?

Post by coryjac0b »

I wish to add 2 GSPs, to my saltwater aquarium, and was wondering how long should i acclimate them, if going from ~.08 to ~.021?

A fish like a GSP can easily be acclimated from FW to SW in an hour, but you can give them more time if you want to rest easier about it. Drip is what most people suggest, but honestly I just add water slowly every 5-10 minutes.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

Dripping isn't too hard either, all you need is an airline tubing, clamp it or tie knots to slow the flow down to a drip.
