I have 3 baby gsp and wanted to know what else I can feed them. they eat blood worm but I just found out that there is no nutrients. I bought a bunch of ghost shrimp but it looks like they are too fast for them unless they die. I was just wondering if i can feed them any type of shrimp. like if i go to a grocery store and get non cooked shrimp and feed it to them. oh yea i almost forgot.. i have never seen them eat snails. I have like 20 snails in the tank and most of them are smaller then they're eye and they are not eatting them..

Remember if you feed them fresh shrimp to thaw it in the water from their own tank. I feed mine flake, or freeze dried shrimp, feeder guppies..etc.
You can hold the shrimp in your hand just in the top of the water and let them feed from your hand. Just be careful not to get nipped because they can get over eager. lol

you can feed them flakes and guppies and its okay? they wont get sick?

Feeder fish should be quarantined before being given as food just in case they have any diseases\parasites, same really with any live food such as shrimps\snails etc... Some puffers particularly F8's will take flake food as an addition to the main meaty diet.

I personally wouldn't feed them feeder fish. They eat mainly shelled animals in the wild so that's what I would go with. Snails, prawns, scallops, muscles, clams, bloodworms ok too etc. Try crushing the snails before you feed it to them so they can "smell" the snail meat.
