porcupine puffers
porcupine puffers
Anyone know if it would be possible to keep more than one porcupine puffer in a tank - assuming its big enough?

I disagree strongly
while you can keep porcs together very easily as they are not very agressive toward anything unless you get a very bad tempered one, the tank space is the problem as is keeping up the water quality with two massive waste producers. a 200 gallon with a serious skimmer, refugium with macro algaes to lower nitrates amnd alot of LR to keep the water quailty as high as possible i think you will be fine.
Ive done it before with ZERO problems, just not for their lifespan. at most i did mine for 8 months while growing them for a display tank set

It can be done but there is a high risk factor for puffer on puffer violence... Its all about the personality of the fish. Pissy ones just don't do well with others of the same. If you find two very laid back diodons then you can try it...just keep a close eye and have another tank or be prepared to evacuate one should trouble start.
Hope this helps...Lee
