sap rehoming

i recently lost one of my sap's and i was wandeing if you guys think it would be ok to put the serving one in my 6foot comunity planted tank ?
causei think hes a bit lonly in his tank

What other fish do you have in it?

I kept my one SAP in a community tank and it worked well, but it none of the fish were slow moving or aggressive. If you have anything territorial or aggressive, they might pick on the SAP. If its slow moving, the SAP might pick on it.

If you do try it, keep a close eye on the tank and be prepared to move him back out ASAP.

iv got silver sharks, clownn laches, angels, mahecola barbs, scissor tails, glowlight danios and some small tetras.
How should i intriduce him if i do?

Should be fine. My SAPs live with a variety of things including bleeding heart tetras, hatchetfish, halfbeaks and glassfish. Since SAPs tend to say away from caves and densely planted areas, things like Synodontis are basically ignored.

On the other hand, they definitely will nip slow-moving and/or stupid things, like Corydoras and platies. Obviously things with long fins, like angelfish and gouramis, are at risk, too.

hes been in the big tank for a week now and seems to be fine
hes feeding well right up at the top with the others
and touch wood he hasnt been nipping yet
