RTR's articles

Post by Boxermom »

All is not lost, thankfully. I have been given permission to post the links to some of his articles, which have been relocated. And he says he's working on more, such as series on water and water parameters.

I didn't get much from those. Do you have direct links to his articles?

Already added them to my Favorites. Let me know when you find the F8 article.

No worries, just use the way-back machine to locate archived versions of TPF way back when the articles were still posted. It's also fun to see what the site used to look like long, long ago.

Here's a link to the site from 10 Jun 2006. Follow the "Library" link and you'll find the F8 article you were looking for.

Thanks & great to see ya here! :D

Unfortunately, RTR's articles went with him when he retired from TPF. I haven't seen his F8 article anywhere where we can linke folks to it. I have written one but am waiting for a certain mag to put it out in print before I can post it here.

Did I miss something?
When and why did he leave?

He left several months ago, due to health concerns.

That sucks! I hope he's doing alright now.

If the health concerns are computer addiction related, I'm in trouble. :(

Woah, holy time warp!

I barely even remember what the forum looked like back then! Quite a bit more pleasing to the eye now, that's for sure.

The F8 article is there though:

I actually did find it on a foreign forum. I had to translate it though (very rough translation).

Jeni,

Follow the link I posted above and you will find an archived copy of the old TPF board, including articles that were posted in the library at that time. RTR's F8 article is there.

Thanks I saw it there. When I was writing my F8 article a few weeks ago, I was looking for it as a reference. That's why I posted that I was looking for it & at the time, all I found was the one in another language.
