knight goby
can i occasionally feed a knight goby raw lettuce/cabbage, since they're omnivorous?

Try blancing it first (dip it briefly in boiling water), letting it cool, and offering it to them. It won't hurt them if they do eat it. But if they don't, make sure you take it out after a while so it doesn't rot.
I'm always amazed at the fish that are willing to try veggies. And people look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I chop up and freeze ice cubes of apples, grapes, oranges, garlic and zuchanni for my goldfish.

Yes. Also try tinned peas and Sushi Nori. Both of these seem to be popular with all sorts of fish.
