I feel like I need something that will eat the leftover food on the bottom of my tank...it is too small for me to get it all out. Any suggestions on what kind of fish or scavenger I can add to my tank for this purpose?
So far I have:
porcupine puffer...3"
copperbanded butterfly....3"
Perc clown
2 damsels.... that I absolutely can not catch to get rid of
2 peppermint shrimp
7 snails
in a 55gal tank while my 125gal is cycling
tank mate for puffer?

You already have plenty of shrimps and snails, not sure what else you'd want to eat food scraps. Try feeding less, if it takes them more than 30 seconds or so to eat it, it's probably too much.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.
