Bullseye puffer, Sphoeroides annulatus.
You really need to start checking our Pufferpedia:

I do see spots on the larger one. Are these a super rare, highly sought after puffer?

Re: YEP, NEED AN ID
Well, the fact that we have them in the Pufferpedia, would make me believe they aren't super rare but they are rarely seen.
I suggest since you are dealing in the more exotic species, to get yourself a copy of Dr Klaus Ebert's: The puffers of fresh & brackish waters.

Re: YEP, NEED AN ID
Agree upon ID. Are sometimes exported to Europe (mostly only on demand) and occur at the coast of Peru. Juveniles enter rivers and get caught as FW fish, but of course, will need brackish to marine within a few weeks (the sooner the better).
Did you notice the funny sounds they make?

Re: YEP, NEED AN ID
I have seen these puffers while diving and even snorkeling many times in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. I think you posted these on MFK yesterday or the day before (i asked for a picture in the thread there). Very cool though, these are definately full marine fish, maybe they will do ok in brackish but i doubt they will do to well in fresh (could definately be wrong though, would be interesting to see).
I will dig up some pictures from my last trip, i think my daughter was able to snap a few shots of these while we were snorkeling.
