the issue is the tank was never cycled...id take the fish back if you can...if not read those articles posted...your fish is getting very sick..you need to do large water changes ASAP

is the tank cycled? what do you mean by "treat the tank"?...this could be the fish reacting to the ammonia spike. An aquarium needs to by cycled before fish are added. Fish produce waste and there needs to be enough bacteria in the tank to convert the fish waste, to less toxic levels. If y...

Im not sure if it is okay to do this, but i have a 15 gallon tank that have shrimp in them and some other small fish, could i take out the other fish and just breed shrimp for the sole purpose of feeding them to my FIgure 8's?
