F8 - many questions
I posted awhile ago considering getting a F8. I have a 29 gallon but am considering getting a 37 or even larger setup. Would the extra 8 gallons make a worthy difference? Seems like it would. Also I want to lightly plant the tank. Should I adjust the plants slowly to the salt when I am cycling? I kn...

Pea Puffer Setup
I have a 15 gallon tall. I bought it because it fits neatly on my shelf. I was thinking of getting 3-4 pea puffers but wanted to make sure this wasn't too small considering it is a tall. The ratio would be 1 male to 2-3 females. It would be lightly planted at the least and heavily decorated. Or perh...

Re: 15 tall stocking question
I was going to raise ramhorns and cherry shrimp in the 15tall for them. I didn't know they could be a staple though.

Re: 15 tall stocking question
Well I'll probably go to shoprite. But it's good to know they aren't that hard to afford. It'll still be awhile before I get one though. I got plenty of other fish tanks to work on. Plus I gotta buy 100+ dollars worth of plants. 50+ worth of filtration. For all my tanks not just the puffer Plus I'm ...

Re: 15 tall stocking question
Okay. I'll get some kind of puffer toys and decor and switch it around for interest. I won't be getting one for awhile I don't think. Gotta line the pockets a little first so I can afford all that expensive shellfish to give them. LOL, one lil F8 won't eat you out of a fortune of food! At this poin...

Re: where to find GSP Food Variety
I've read Traders Joes and Whole Foods stock decently priced high high quality frozen shell fish. Just scout out the local grocery stores and do a little bargain hunting. Good look with your fish.

Re: 15 tall stocking question
Yeah I would agree. I thought a lot about it over the last few days. And I had already decided I'm going to use the 15g as a shrimpery and my 29 for the puffer. I was thinking about using the 29 for a mini fish community but I want a puffer more.

15 tall stocking question
I have a 16 bowfront (about 15.9g I think) and I wondered if it was too small for a F8 puffer. It's 18.5x12x16.5. I would decorate it well and get a really good filter for it. So it would be nice. But it would still be rather tall and not long.
