You should have 1 for every 5gallons of water(that's what I've been told), but I might do 2

I know how much to add and everything but i read an article that said not to add salt directly to tank so do i add to filter? and also I have puffers in tank so do i need to move them or can they be in tank when i add marine salt? i'm only adding a lil...just a small transition step. thnx,cat

i read the article and it says not to add the marine salt directly to the tank...so you'd have to put in the filter,right?
