Protein Skimmer Brand?
I'm about to order a protein skimmer for a 120 gal. new marine aquarium. Any suggestions for a brand? I'm looking at Marineland 100, Coralife Super and Red Sea Prizm. Thannks!

I've been doing alot of internet reading in preparation for setting up a 120 gallon tank with a baby porc as the centerpiece. I really can't find any reference to live plants. Besides often being difficult, are they not appropriate for porc puffers? Also, is there any coral I can get away with using...

Couldn't find anything in theclownfishforum that looked appropriated. It may have been hijacked. Anyway, I was interested in the question about changing half of the water in the quarantine tank every other day when not in use. Is this correct? Frankly, I wouldn't dream of that much work and expense ...

Impaction Sand/Gravel
I know in keeping lizards you always hear about the dangers of impaction due to the lizard swallowing bits of substrate when grabbing prey. Is this a danger with a puffer ingesting tiny bits of coral sand when picking up food from the bottom?
