aquaclear hob in the uk
i've been looking to get a hob filter for one of my small tanks as they take up less room inside the tank , the aquaclears get good reviews but i can't seem to find one anywhere in the uk, anyone know where i can get one it's for a 20 gallon tank, i've seen a eheim hob filter but it doesn't get a ve...

my puffer love squid, i just go to my local fresh fish mongers and usually buy a whole squid for about £4.00 and chop it up and freeze it , lasts ages

i've got a 55gallon and a 25 gallon either side of my pc, it's not a problem as long as you are careful with water changes.

sorry to hear that Suzanne , i 'm sure it wouldn't have been moving the puffer that caused her to die and i know how well you look after them and the tanks

just a thought if its a bad rip i wonder if it would be possible to use super glue to stick it down they sometimes use it in A and E

well is thinking some kind of natural mark as well but i'm not sure as in a week it's changed from black to white , he seems healthy enough so i'll keep an eye on him, he stays black pretty much all the time if the lights are on so i guess he doesn't like the light much. well it can be a birth mark or one of the puffers natural markings as it's changed from a black spot to a white spot, when the puffer has a white belly you can't see it at all ,but when his belly is black it shows up as a white spot, i did catch him and rubbed my finger over the spot but i can't fee...

it's not his spines i can see it mainly underneath especially when his belly is black but there also a few spots on his fins, it does look like small grains of salt but doesn't ich look exactly like that as well

it now looks like my ceylon puffer has got ich ,i got him on monday and i thought i could see a few spots but is wasn't sure until today, he was in fresh water at the LFS but is now in brackish at 1.006
will the fact that he is in brackish water kill the ich or should i raise the temperature

he doesn't look thin and i haven't seen him poop so can't comment on that, i think ill try and get him eating first and see how it goes , he seems a bit more settled today, yesterday he was going nuts attacking the glass and i had to turn the lights off and leave him

my new ceylon puffer doesn't seem interested in eating it's only it's second day in the tank so it's early days but i was wondering if it was worth worming him as a precaution, he's not looking thin and i've not seen him poop ,just wondered if it worth doing now or is it best to wait awhile and let ...

it does look like a birth mark or maybe a mole ? it doesn't have any other marking that low down on either side it's not raised either i've never seen anything like it before

not sure if pets shops will sell it, i've had no problem buying it from chemists before
