Re: Doing two new puffer tanks, pricing ?s
I have 3 LFS to go through, but there's no way I can afford a bright red Congo this paycheck. Pufferpunk, can you just give me yours? Lol. Your Congo is what made me want one, such a beautiful fish!

Doing two new puffer tanks, pricing ?s
I'm looking to order a Congo for my 75 and a fahaka for my 140, just wondering what kind of prices i should be expecting for these fish. Don't worry, my tanks are cycled and massively overfiltered, these fish will have good homes.

Re: mbu bang on crawfish...
My saba puffer has the same behavior with crawfish, but I'm still pretty jealous of your beautiful mbu! Definitely would enjoy seeing a vid of him feeding someday.

Re: News: I'm deploying to Baghdad
Best of luck overseas. The new tank will be nice to come home to. What branch and unit are you deploying with and what MOS are you deploying as?

Re: <10sec complete color change?
hmmm one of my gsp's does this as well but i just belive it is because he is bored.( i need to remodel the tank, cant wait till the end of the semester) I've heard of people just reorganizing everything, maybe taking one thing out and putting it back in 2 weeks later. Could help for a little while ...

<10sec complete color change?
Been noticing this more and more recently as Troll (undecided GSP/Saba) has been sleeping in the daytime more frequently (or at least when I've been around). When he sleeps, he turns into a little piece of charcoal (black belly, unpatterned black/green back), but if I go up to his tank, after a bit ...

considering starting a cool water tank
Said tank is a 20gal tall tank. Had it sitting around with extra space to put it so I just started cycling it for the hell of it. Just wondering what my possibilities are as I've never dabbled in cool water tanks (aside from a 120gal pond experiment when I was 12), always stuck tropical.

minimum fahaka tank size?
one of my LFS has a fahaka for sale in a 20 gallon tank so I feel like I have to rescue him since he's been there a while with no one to purchase him. only problem is, my largest tank is a 30 gal which is already occupied by a saba puffer (who needs a tank upgrade anyways).

Re: Tetraodon Sabahensis Overview/Article.
I don't know if GSP's darken in lighter conditions or not as well, but I've noticed that my puffer has a stark white belly in the morning (shortly after I turn the lights on) and the later it gets, the darker his belly and fins get. This time of night, his fins are dark gray and his belly is pretty ...

Re: Tetraodon Sabahensis Overview/Article.
I've seen a few different statements on the length of a fully grown Sabahensis, do you have a confirmed length?

Re: my first GSP (pics inside, advice welcome)
With the jumbo shrimp and mussels, should I just buy them at a grocery store and thaw out for feeding time? Also, I'm going to be starting a snail/shrimp tank soon for him so any advice is welcome on that since I haven't done it before. It's exciting that he could be a sabahensis, but I am definite...

my first GSP (pics inside, advice welcome)
Just had this little guy for a little over a week, really enjoying him so far, learning a LOT from this board. Here he is, his name is Biggie, although he also answers to fatass (he was constipated when I bought him, looked like such a little butterball). http://photos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3...
