Re: i want another puffer will any work for this tank
Duh... why didn't I think of that? Do they have DPs at your fish store? You'll have to bring back the danios. Do the swap on the same day though, so the tank stays cycled. It's pretty cool if they'll let you do that, since you already brought back one fish. they should but i dont think they have a ...

i want another puffer will any work for this tank
i had an f8 which was really cool but took him back because my tank was to small only 5 gallons. So i really want one but dont really want to up grade. Will the tank be good enough for a Dwarf puffer? and if so how hard will it be to maintain. meaning do i have to do a ton of water changes or just o...

Re: Puffer with damaged nose
try feeding him more foods with shells like snails to try and clean that plaque off. ya if he is still eating and seems fine i dont think you have anything to worry about, it might get better down the road.

Re: Does Anyone have Care Information on...
i couldnt find anything on people keeping them as a pet but i would assume you would need a large tank saltwater of course. they are planktonic and related to the jellyfish. people keep jellyfish so i would assume it would work if you treated it like a jellyfish

That should work, great decision! i know this is a puffer forum but do u know anything about danios? do they like a little current in the tank or not bc it seems like it might be a little to strong in the one corner. is there something i could do to make the current a little less. and i cant move t...

Re: f8 brakish or what
If you are using dechlor , just make sure the water is the same temperature as the tank water. well after all the questions and everything i took the f8 back to the pet store. i really liked him but wanted the best for him. so now i have 2 red and 2 green danios. will my tank be good enough for tha...

Re: f8 brakish or what
If you add the dechlor directly to the tank before you fill it, add enough for the entire 5g. If you dechlor in a bucket of fresh water, you can add for what you are replacing. I'd do 50% WC 2x/week for him. You need to start making that water brackish, too. ok cool one more quick question do i let...

Re: f8 brakish or what
You need a larger tank for that puffer, period! I am shocked the puffer hasn't gone after the bettas yet. That tank is just large enough for them, only. no the bettas are out its just the puffer by himself now Well, that's good... at least this means the tank is cycled. BUT you still need to think ...

Hey, this is off-topic, but are the females still together? You might run into some aggression issues down the road if you only have two females. Check this out: http://www.ultimatebettas.com/index.php?showtopic=12193&st=0 A well-done sorority is fascinating - I want one so bad! yes they are st...
