Pictures of baby puffers?

I was wondering does any one have any pictures of baby puffers? I had a GSP that had babies, about four of them but sadly was not able to save any of them as she soon ate them. Since then I have been trying to find pictures for my redeye (salivtor) puffer who also just gave birth I think, she is in ...

Problem in feeding

So I just recently recieved my puffer in the mail and it seems I have the wrong order, instead of being a Carinotetraodon lorteti, she turned out to be a Carinotetraodon salivator. At first I was angered in not getting what I ordered and being the first time I ordered a fish online but after doing s...

New red tailed red eye female puffer

So next week I will be getting my new red tailed red eye female puffer and I was wondering what to do about algae since it is a planted tank. But my worry is that any type of algae eater I get will be attacked by the puffer. Suggestions on how to take care of the algae problems that have been growin...

Re: Gsp questions

Well good luck with that, I have tried over and over to get my puffie to eat out of my hand and nothing works. I have had him for about 4 months now and he is used to me and loves his tank and he knows when he’s going to be fed. But when I try to lower in food in my palm he mistakes my hand for food...

Re: Garlic for vitamins?

Well thanks for the info since garlic doesn't really help with anything thing much then I guess Ill just stick with soaking my puffer's food in water with vitamins for the time being and he already has a healthy appetite.

Garlic for vitamins?

So in my research about puffers I came across a theory on how to get puffs the vitamins. One way was to soak fish food in garlic water and then feed to guppies and then to puffers so they could get the nutrients. How false is this? Garlic is fine when dealing with vampires but for my GSP?

Breeding trumpet snails

In my long history of housing GSP's I have become aware of the demanding need to keep their teeth growth at a minimal. I have looked at fish stores around Southern Cali and haven't found a good store that has a large supply of snails to limit teeth growth. So instead I will venture to the unknown an...
