Re: DP not eating!
nitrites are 0, ph is 7.2, ammonia is 0. I use liquid water tests for everything except ammonia but did a 50% water change yesterday as well as put the aquasafe drops and ammonia drops in the water before adding it to the tank.

DP not eating!
I recently bought two dwarf puffers. One is eating like a pig and the other does not want to eat at all. I have tried frozen bloodworms, freeze-dried brine shrimp and also snails. I have also tried soaking the food in garlic juice for fish and they both do not seem to like it. I really do not want t...

Re: figure eight puffer sick!
I was actually thinking about getting a dwarf puffer for my five gallon but i felt so bad for my figure eight puffer that I am worried about buying a dwarf puffer. What would I need to do to cycle the tank again after all of the salt that I put in?

Re: figure eight puffer sick!
My puffer is doing worse than ever. He has been sitting at the bottom of the tank for hours on his side, breathing heavily and cannot swim. Is there anything else I can do. I am worried he will not make it through the night.

Re: figure eight puffer sick!
He is breathing very heavily and is sitting at the bottom of the tank with a curled tail and has trouble even making himself upright. He has a concave belly which i thought could be an internal parasit so i dewormed him. He does not have any white spots and does not appear to have clamped fins. I ju...

What i don't understand is that all of the water was at the appropriate levels which i tested twice a day and he was still sick. That is why i added the salt which didnt help. I just tested the water again the water is the same as before i added the salt, i dont know why.
