i agree with you i mean i guess i could crush it half way then let him work at it your right he needs to learn. I dont really stick my hands in the tank that much he doesnt like it and i dont like how the salt water makes my skin feel. Hes eating blood worms now but hes still unsure of snails maybe ...

Thanks for getting back so fast because i just came home with 2 bls of mussels and i just wanted to know because i hate buying only a few since they only last 3-4 days so thanks for the advice!

Hi everyone i was wondering if you could freeze live mussels for later use? and how would you dethawe them if you can?

i tried blood worms again today and guess what? he likes them lol it must of just been in a horrible mood because all he did today was hide. But he doesnt like snails lol i dont blame him but maybe ill have to try sum other tactic.

Im not offering one after another i only tried one that was crushed half way because it was kind of large he doesnt like snails im guessing and doesnt want to take the time to try to like them just like he doesnt like blood worms i dont know i have a picky one i guess.

my question still is how do i get him to eat the snails i just bought? the dime size should i crush them half way? no one has answered me at all with any advice how do i get him to eat the snails?

Hi everyone well i went and bought the snails they were a little bigger then i thought but i got them for 50 cents i couldnt pass on that. I feed mine twice a day once around 9am then again around 630-7pm. I dont seem to have any issues i just let my eat till his belly is kind of big not huge and he doesnt mind.

Yes i have a petsmart but for some reason they keep there tanks really clean so no luck even there i called like eight places lol trust me i looked around.

My question is can i crush them some what feed what he will eat then freez the other? or keep a few and breed them and do what you say with the babies.

Ha yea that was a typo GSP lol so its okay to get sum what of larger ones just crush them you say? because i can get the larger snails for a dollar. So can i crush tem and freez them? then just thawe them out?

Any suggestion on what i should do since i can not find any "pond snails" the only ones i can find are mystry snails that are the size or dimes is that to large? my GSB is about 3-4" please help lol i dont know what else i can do i called every where and the only size is dime sizes.
