Maybe you should dismantle your filter and clean it out with tank water. Could be something rotting in there and leaching an overwhelming amount of ammonia?

Awe, sorry to hear about your lil guy.

Thanks tons for the quick response. Ok, i will upgrade my QT to a five gallon. My water parameters are: Ammonia 0 Nitrites 0 My nitrates are high, a tad bit more than 25. Even though you need to treat for IP's, treatment is stressful for fish. Especially if they were showing symptoms in the first place. That might be what his problem is.
