That has to be the most beautiful fish I've ever seen and you should definately get it. I would get it in a heart beat if I had a few thousand $ for the tank and if I had a few hundred for the fish

Recently I bought four ghost shrimp from the LFS and fed all but one of them to my happy GSP. I didn't feed the fourth because it was smaller than the others and It' s abdomen was a milky white colour instead of the regular transparancy. Is this shrimp okay to use as a feeder or what.

Alright I just took a trip to the LFS and got some marine salt and I don't know how much salt to ad to make my tank brackish so my GSP will become acclimated.

I have a tank set up for my GSP but it isn't brackish yet and I'm wondering if plain table salt could act as a temporary substitution until I get Marine salt (Probably this weekend).Does it act like marine salt. Is it toxic to fish? etc.

To test the water, take a sample to the local fish store (LFS). As soon as you can, purchase your own test kit, preferably the liquid kind. API is a good brand. Did you cycle your tank?
