When a puffer is in the lfs, it's not home, they are not settled and don't show their true personality. Thanks for all the input! The sick puffer has recovered... treated (both, just to be safe) with Gel-Tek Ultra Cure PX for 3 days and it got better right away.

I had a group of four of them for a year, and they totally rock. They are so cute hunting ghost shrimp! I juts sold them about a week ago to help finance a move to monsters. We've got two Mbus now! Woohoo!

Just shipped in, so water parameters/feeding/tankmates aren't really relevant. Looks a bit like a distended rectum-- if you don't already know what that is, don't google it. You'll vomit. Basically, it looks like pink tissue has been pushed out of the puffer's rectum-- sorry about the fuzzy pictures...
