Re: 100% water change
Ive done just about all that I can for him while hes in this 5 gal, guys. Now all he wasnt to do is sit at the bottom and pant. he doesent have the energy to do anything but barely move his fins. He lets the water take him wherever, he usually swims around vertical with his tail in the air, and hes ...

Re: 100% water change
I will try that, pufferpunk.
Christemo, our fish stores dont take returns on fish they dont sell, and if i return it to wal mart, they will only flush it.

Re: 100% water change
I dont have enough money. My 10gal. broke the day i got him, so he lived in a bowl with 100% chages 2x daily, and a 5gal was the only thing we could afford. Wal-Mart flushes their returns. I didnt want that to happen.

100% water change
I did a 100% water change on my 5 gal. Added some salt and made sure the water was up to 82F. Put in a new filter cartridge, cleaned off all the plants and his cave, left the rocks alone. Now his belly is white as can be, but hes developed a pitch black spot right in the middle of it and is resting ...

Re: HELP!
Well. Before we got the tank, he was in a little bowl. He was in the bowl because I was trying to fill up my glass 10g in my bathtub (dumbest idea ive ever had in my whole life!) and it cracked with the weight against the drain. So he was in the bowl for 2 weeks, with 2x daily water changes before a...

Re: HELP!
Well.. Mine doesent carry them. I dont have anything to measure the pH, ammonia, or nitrites/nitrates. All that I have for my tank is what I mentioned in my first post, along with Aquarium salt and a trial size water conditioner package. My temperature, though, stays between 78 and 83 degrees farenh...

HELP!

I realize, now, that I should have waited. I have a heater, a thermometer, a filter, lighting, fake plants, a little cave he...
