Live Rock is KEY! Especially in a marine system (even FOWLR). It should be added in FIRST to start the bacteria culture going, I personally use crused coral/live sand mix it again adds to the bacteria growth. As long as you have adequite size, and compatable puffers it shouldn't be a problem. i have a GSP in with my porc and the two get along really well. As my GSP is a loner and doesn't bother anything, and the porc had been kept with another large puffer. I also provided the GSP with lots of caves that...

Okay, I'll try the garlic, I completely forgot about that. I'll have to buy the stick tomorrow. He's healthy otherwise thankfully, but I'm medicating the tank with marine melafix anyway. Just in case:)

Well, my new puffer hasn't been eating. Apparently in the store they told me he hadn't been eating after all of the sea horses he had been kept with had been removed (I know, they shouldn't be kept together, hes a porcupine puffer!) That had been two days ago. I know fish can go a while without food...
