i have 5 pea puffers in a 20 gallon tank with an aquaclear 20 hob, and two sponge filters and it works great.....they have so much fun in there....i have some large river rocks that they hide in, and a few anubias plants in there as well, but i found that this set up given them alot of o2 and circul...

welcome to the wonderful addiction of puffer keeping........ :D just remember to freeze all the foods first and thaw it out in a bit of their tank water before you feed it to them.....the freezing kills all the bacteria that you can get with seafoods from the supermarkets...... :D would love to see ...

well after a long anticipated journey....Chong has arrived and is settling in well. He got here on Sunday morning....he was really scared and so i gave him a couple of days to settle in....he is now comeing out to eat so i wanted his "MOM" to see him ....now without further adue.......Chon...

it can be from particles of the food that fall and lodge into the rock...the pieces don't have to be very big to grow uglies in the tank......

from the litature i can find on that disease it's not good for humans either.....be very careful when your working in that tank not to have an open wound on you..... and if i were you i'd take that fish back to where you bought it and then completely tear that tank down and bleach it well....not kno...

let's see a pic of their home....so we can better advise on what to do for them to keep them from getting bored?.....

i got 4 dwarfs at the same time and they were sooo tiny. i would guess about 1/2 of an inch...that was in april of last year. they are now all at 1inch....i was given another little guy and he's 1 inch too....so if that tells ya somewhat of how fast mine grew....i did put a sponge over the intake fo...
