Sorry abut that. He is in a 55 gallon tank along with a friendly gsp. They get along great. My dogface is about 5 inches and my gsp is about 2 inches. I have seen one of my figure 8's puff up one time. He deflated very quickly and looked like he did it on accident and looked at suprised at me.
Not one of my gsps have puffed.

My gsp started doing the same freaking thing! Yesterday I came home to one dried up on the floor 3 feet from the tank. What the heck!

MY 3" GSP SUICIDE
I come home from work and take a seat infront of my 55 gallon tank. I notice a gsp missing. I look under all cracks and caves.
THEN
I find him on the floor. He jumped out during the day and laid there to die. About 3 feet from the tank. He was biggest GSP.

I have 2 figure 8s in full marine for about 3months now and they seem hungry and happy as ever.
