Is it safe to use MS222 on Mbu Puffers?
My puffer is roughly 15 inches now and has a sore mouth. May have some shell stuck in his mouth hence the reason for asking this question.

I really appreciate all your help guys. I stroke my puffer everytime I do a water change, he just sits there looking at me, but I have never attempted to hold him, I have no idea at all how you would sedate one to look at them closely. Hello, I am new to this forum stuff, so please be patient. I have recently brought a Mbu Puffer and he is around 5-6". He is very active and his colouring is white underneath with bright markings on top. However as soon as I put on the tank lights he seems to sink and shy away, nor will he swim...
