Actually, I have some fine sand with gravel mixed in, but looks sooo ugly, I'm thinking of getting thicker grain of sand, adding river rocks and slate.

I have a 30g long brackish tank with on3 ceylon puffer. I don't like the gravel and want to change it to sand. I'm thinking of taking out the puffer while doing the change, is this a good idea? I just did something really stupid that really stressed my ceylon puffer. I wanted to do some decor changes to my tank, so i had a sand bottom, which was nice, but added black gravel. Now it looks like a chocolate chip cookie... :( Should i do a complete gravel change??? or use a small cup to filter...

If i move him to a larger tank is there anyway that it can be done with out stressing him out even more?

Thanks for the infor guys. tried feeding him this morning, but he would not eat..... after work i going to buy a test kit and buy some live food maybe that will help out.
