My GSP stopped pacing after he had been in his tank for three months. I have a lot of caves/rockwork. He spends a LOT of time in there. I am sure he loves it. I wish I saw him more. But he's right up at the glass whenever he thinks there is a chance of a snailstorm.

I think some of your plants might start to die when they get to your final brackish salinity. Even slowly raising the salinity has not kept any plants alive in my tanks. Hope you have better luck!

Thanks for the heads-up guys. The chiller requirement (to keep the water below ambient air temperatures) is the killer expense. So, basically these fish are 99% likely to be sold to someone, and die off quickly. Sad, very sad.

He died. I suspect a combination of (a) raising the salinity too little, too late, and (b) the LFS was known to be pretty low quality, (c) I had a log in there that I should have removed before adding any marine salt, I think it might have released some toxins into the tank. He was definitely moody....
