Re: GSP and Corals

Mine has NEVER even noticed any corals. I would consider mine completely reef safe.

Re: Will he die?

You guys will be happy to know that I took the advice and made the tank the same SG as his original home..... Scored a bunch of LR for dirt cheap and made him a sweet home! I think he is a bit stressed from the move though. Check out his belly in this pic. He hasn't eaten in two day, thats the time ...

Re: Will he die?

He is about 2 1/2 inches. Story is this.. He has be incredibly happy living with all the other marine creatures for a while now... And I mean a good while. I always knew however there would be a day that he would figure out that he could eat better than me and my wife. Well Friday was that day. He f...

Will he die?

I need to move my GSP. right now he is in a SG of 1.022. I have a FW tank that is well matured but uninhabited. I could raise the SG up a tad to BW conditions but I couldn't raise it up to SW because it wouldn't be cycled anymore. If I dip acclimated my GSP for about two hours to a SG of about 1.004...

Re: FW to Brackish .002

It's about a 1/2 cup per gallon to get to 1.022 I think or 1.020. Either way you can always add more salt.... it's a lot hardener to get it out. I suck at math so I am no help on the formula.

I have my GSP in full marine where he has been happily for about three or months now. My problem is that he finally realized that he can eat $60 worth of cleaner shrimp.... So I want him in my 36 tank now but it is FW. I was thinking I would change it to BW tank but I don't know how to do that with ...

Re: Quick pic of my GSP....

He gets along with everyone for now.. Even the cleaner shrimp....For now anyway... He is about 2 1/2" I would guess.. It has been told to me that they are not ready for full marine until bigger and that might very well be true, but he is a Wal-mart rescue and is very happy and although full SW ...

GSP color meanings

What does it mean when my GSP changes to a really dark green? So dark that you almost can't see his spots? Is it hunting colors. I have noticed he does this when he is "stroked" by cleaner shrimp..... Is he thinking about eating them?
