Re: GSP won't eat
I knew my time was limited and I wasn't able to get any of your recommended medicine in time without ordering it. I ran to walmart and got parasite clear. These dissolving tablets. I figured anything was better than nothing and I hated seeing him suffer. So it was more for me to feel like I was doin...

Re: GSP won't eat
He is doing pretty bad and I don't have the medicine. If I buy the stuff and we say he only has a day left, will it work? How long will it take to start working for him? I really don't think he has much time left.

Re: GSP won't eat
Thank you very much. I am on my way to the fish/pet stores now to see if I can find any of these things.

GSP won't eat
HI I have a gsp that won't eat. The tank is 20 gallons and fully cycled. It has been set up for a few months. Geoffrey (my gsp) is by himself. Salinity: 1.008 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate:0 pH: 7.5 Temp: 85 degrees (F) I am unsure of the ammonia. I just did a 50% water change and that lowered the salt. It was...

Re: Crab Leg?
Yeah I read the articles but my sources are limited so I was asking about the shrimp and crab leg. Thank you, that was helpful.

Crab Leg?
Will a gsp eat snow crab legs? If I cut it into tiny pieces? I usually get him snails but he is in partially salt water and he looses interest too quickly and the snails just die. What about ghost shrimp? Do they have a hard shell that would help his teeth?

Re: teeth
I don't have much advice. I witnessed a failure. Just make sure you stir the clove oil very well and go as quickly as possible. I hope it worked out. I know this is a late post but I am extremely curious as how this turned out. I hope everything went fine. I lost my precious Steve (F8 puffer) to tho...

Re: How much salt for F8?
Can I add my GSP while the salinity is .002 and then take him out while I am adding another .002? Or should i wait until the tank is 1.005 or higher before I add him?

Re: How much salt for F8?
I was told to put my F8 at 1.005. A GSP should be a little more. Thanks, I definitely have the wrong hydrometer, in fact, the actual one in the picture. Haha. I will add 2.5 cups and then get the right hydrometer. I'll see how that works. How long should I wait after I get the Salinity to .002 to be...

Re: How much salt for F8?
Are there different levels of hydrometers? Because the one that I bought (and the only one available) begins it's measurement at 1.012. How do I know if it raises .002? Also, I have added 2 cups of marine salt to 20 gallons and the hydrometer has yet to budge. The temperature is 80 degrees, free of ...

Re: 2 GSPs?
I have a 25 gallon so I don't think it is big enough for 2 GSP. Geoffrey (my gsp) is still pretty little and I have only had him for a week. But I am unsure if I am getting a bigger tank anytime soon. So I guess I will just stick with Geoffrey. Thank you.

Re: One more question :)
Thank you, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wait until they were older or not. Thanks.
