Will a gsp eat snow crab legs? If I cut it into tiny pieces? I usually get him snails but he is in partially salt water and he looses interest too quickly and the snails just die. What about ghost shrimp? Do they have a hard shell that would help his teeth?

Can I add my GSP while the salinity is .002 and then take him out while I am adding another .002? Or should i wait until the tank is 1.005 or higher before I add him?

Are there different levels of hydrometers? Because the one that I bought (and the only one available) begins it's measurement at 1.012. How do I know if it raises .002? I have a 25 gallon so I don't think it is big enough for 2 GSP. Geoffrey (my gsp) is still pretty little and I have only had him for a week. But I am unsure if I am getting a bigger tank anytime soon. So I guess I will just stick with Geoffrey. Thank you.
