If the pH of your tap matches the pH in your tank, you should have nothing to worry about. Check your tap water as soon as you are able, though.

As long as the pH remains stable, it shouldn't be a problem. Better too low, or too high, than constantly see-sawing up and down.

I think it could be that you are using aquarium salt rather than marine salt.
