Re: New hairy puffer
hi, welcome to the site! and congrats on your new puffer. I'm pretty new to puffers as well. What i have gleamed from this bottomless font of knowledge that is the puffer forum is that your puffer may be a bit stressed out due to the move. or maybe he doesn't have enough plant cover to hide in? like...

Re: GSP availability
i saw 3 or 4 healthy (although with nipped fins) GSP's just last saturday in a lfs near milton keynes. I don't know how close that is to you, my geography is terrible!! They were even in a brackish tank and marked as 'unsociable fish, not to be put in a community tank' Quite a pleasant surprise, a L...

Re: Selling my Fahaka
my fahaka doesn't like my husband anywhere near his tank either, maybe it's a gender thing? Mac cost around £30 and he was 4 inches, so i bet yours would probably be worth 45-50? at a guess. It's a shame you have to get rid of him they're great puffers

Re: pics of mac the fahaka
how long did it take him to go from 6 to 8-9 inches? do they really grow an inch a month for the first year? i suppose it depends on how much they eat.

Re: pics of mac the fahaka
hi, got mac from chiltern aquatics in bedfordshire. i'm friends with the guy in charge of the fish and was actually waiting for some other puffers to come in when i saw him in a bottom corner tank burried in the sand. he was around £30 and was 3 1/2 to 4 inches. i'm surprised at how much he changes ...
