mine ate every other day for a few weeks after rescue, then nothing for a whole week, i became really worried, but he happy ate on the 8 th day, had us all worried. now he eats every other day and sometimes skips two days, hope that helps you stress less , i have put lots of small snails in the tank...

i am glad you bought him, they should be ashamed and how do they still have a license to carry on selling , i truly hope you get him up to normal size, its so awful to see, keep us posted on progress xxxxxxxx

sorry i meant my puffer was messy and thought the shrimp would kinda eat some of the bits that i miss when i hoover up, havnt tried it as i think he will eat them,,, might try keep you updated

glad you never fed the crab, he is a lovely looking puffer, never seen a good photo of one puffing , mine never does that, just bought a new tank for Spike as was badly advised by LFS... update soon

The Thames not the cleanest river, be careful. Crab shouldnt be too big, have you read Manitus' account of Clooney nearly suffocating on a crab claw? He had to up the oxygen into the tank pretty fast .....
