I never actually thought to ask! I'm not blessed with the best choice in shops up here to be honest. I actually prefer to do the 3 hour round trip to Maidenhead Aquatics in York when buying supplies. Having been spoilt for choice with shops down south, good ones are very few and far between up here....

I have actually tried to do some research on these white spots.... My MBU had them not so long ago, I treated the tank for Ich but they continued to come and go over a period of about 3 - 4 weeks. I have later found out these are not uncommon in MBUs, and not that harmful, but it is a sympton of poo...

I might be a little too late here, but when i had to move boomer, i took him in a plastic dustbin. Although that said this was for a 4hour journey from suffolk to newcastle, not a trip to the vets....
