I just treated the water according to the directions on the box.

I have used Parasite Clear, by Jungle on my C. irrubesco, and it worked great. I only had to treat him once to kill his IPs. It seems like a cheap, generic med, but it had metro in it, which many other meds don't have.

That is a Diodon hystrix, they don't look very similar to me. Your post wasn't very helpful, I was looking for advice on medicating the fish. Diodon hystrix isn't in the pufferpedia either.

Eeek! Thanks for the heads up Nick. The only reason i didn't do a full dose is because a puffer is scaleless, correct? Does that only apply to ich medication?

He's feeding great, he is fun to watch eat. Since i have an underwater filter to add a little more filtration and current, the little bits of food go around the tank pretty fast, but he is pretty damn good at catching them. I'm treating him at 3/4 the recommended dose right now just to be safe. Kind...
