Just an update!
Mr/Mrs Fluff's eye seems to be on the mend!
Fluff can now see again and its properly clearing up!

Will melaflix kill the good bacteria in my tank or just the nastys?

O.k.
is this going to be the best time to also start to turn the water brackish or is 50% to much to increase it by at a time?
And i have been doing every other day 40% water changes to dilute the nitrite, so ill step it up a notch and do the 50% every day.

Seem to be having nothing but bad luck with fluffy... http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/ug.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=9048 Fluffys left eye is all puffy and white... well not so much puffy but it looks like he has a white filmy slime type bubble over his left eye. ...

Ill go home tonight and see if i can piece the bits back together to determin wether or not he swallowed some.

So there will be mercury in the water aswell then?
I rang a few places and they said they stoped using mercury in thermometers ages ago...
But i dont know!

Fluffy learnt last night how to chew through big apple snails... I woke up this morning and he'd chewed through the thermometer! Ive scoped him out and put him in a little plastic box full of water i had in a barrell left to do a 25% water change! I know nothing about mercury poisoning! What happens...

He left a few weeks ago...I have no idea how long he has had him for. But i started to find shrinps and prawns and even cockles in the freezer about 6 weeks ago... Been away with work so didn't really see much going on around the house thb. He was a total as%$&*#. Hence why he just left. Apparen...

I did the salt dip...
I think he kind of enjoyed it.

Hello... I took my new MBU puffer to the vet's yesterday as "it" has been flicking around the tank lately, real dark in colour and tucking away his tail...seems as tho hes gasping as well... :? (I'm new to the puffer scene and didn't know to much about them until i was left with a 4/5 inch...
