Re: PLEASE HELP! Sick, Lethargic CheliFish.....

Yes you can change the water with the fish in it. Just leave enugh for the fish to swim in and ry to get it the same temp. Your water could have ammonia in it. Try to get some Prime to add to your water. It helps get rid of chlorines and neutralizes ammonia. Also if you have nitrites it's going to a...

Re: snail breeding update -- SUCCESS !

What do they look like to you? I've noticed a lot of spots on one piece of rock and was wondering if maybe it's something.

Re: snail breeding update -- SUCCESS !

I actually got a ton of snails without trying. I use my dwarf frog's 10 gallon to hold snails when I find them unil they're ready to feed. I must have missed a few, cause I went down one morning and there were 20-30 crawling around! Now it's a supply tank.

You probably still have nitrites and ammonia in the water.

I was pleseantly surprised two days ago to find a snail infestation in my ghost shrimp holding tank. I had put snails in there a long time ago and thought I had harvested all of them but I guess not. :)

Is your cycled? If not tey're dying. If you can ask Petco for BIO-spira. It should cycle your tank.

Re: Swiming up and down

My GSP Booty does this when someone is watching him and if I'm close watch out! Sometimes I worry he's going to flop himself out of the tank. You'd think he would like me by now, he knows I'm the one who feeds him.

Re: think i killed my GS puffer help me so i dont kill the other

Our Wal-Mart had another tank with Puffers in it that looked like they were starving so I opened up a can of the dried meel worms and gave them plenty. They only feed them ever so often and even then it's flake food.
