Re: Arothron Stellatus... Who has one raise your hand!
I'm just having some fun! Heres the story.... We go to the Gaylord palms Hotel in Orlando evry now and then. There is a resturaunt there named Sunset Sams that had a large tank with a porcupine puffer named Louie. He was about 20 inches long. We went back to the returaunt and found Louie got sick an...

I found a home for him. The Orlando International Airport here has a 3000 gallon aguaqium @ the food court in the terminal. He will be going to his new home sometime soon. So be sure to visit him if you happen to be at the airport. He is now about 14" long @ a year and a half old. He recently a...

Re: Shelby has ich?
Cupramine is NOT "copper". It is "chelated copper". There is a difference. Hyposalinatity has never been affective fvor me with salinity as low as 1.010 for 60 days.

Re: Shelby has ich?
Cupramine is chemically different than copper. If it was copper then it would be called copper. It's Cupramine and it's very safe.
myag what are the safer alternatives to cure ich your reffering to? I have never found another cure for ich and I have tried them all.

Re: Shelby has ich?
The only proven method to kill ich is to use copper. Use Seachems Cupramine which is a chelated copper and is safer than ionic copper. Hyposalinity does not work. Of course you can only use it in a FO aquarium without inverts. Vortex Diatom filters also help in the fight against ich as they filter o...

Arothron Stellatus... Who has one raise your hand!
Anyone have one of these in their tank? I bought a 1.5" Stellatus at the pet store and had no idea what I bought. He is now 9" only 6 months later. He eats 4 large cocktail shrimp per day plus some krill. Anyone else have one of these? if so how big is yours?
