Mine only requires enough sand to burry everything but his eyes. He's not quite 5 inches though. For some reason the ones that I have seen don't sleep in the sand. They seem to like sleeping on rocks.

The longer I have my Suvattii, the more he swims around and the less he burries himself. He has become more of a swimmer/cave dweller.

I caught him puffing tonight. He was pretty emberrassed. :shock:
