AKA,Milk spotted puffer.

Here`s a few of the crew deconstructing some lancefish.

I`ve got them in brackish water,and they are doing very well,not as much aggression as i thought there would be.

Every time we`ve ordered pustulatus they have been Fahakas aka tetraodon lineatus on arrival.
We keep trying though!

Chelonodon Patoca...aka milk spotted puffer. Our shipper caught ours in fresh water,although they do look like they will be brackish long term.
Not the same speices as the ones i posted pics of recently.

Yer bang on Hilly...Borneensis all the way there.

I`m sure i had some pics of lorteti?Although some-one said they where readily available,they don`t seem quite as common place as the irrubesco`s imo.

Looks like a Monogenetic Trematode fluke of some discription... i see these on marine fish occasionally.Like your puffer they attach to the eye,perhaps the easyest place to get a grip with no scales or mucus protection?I would normally freshwater dip the marine fish and this has an effect within thr...

I`m liking the chunky guy or lass.I just don`t have the space for one.

Ps,these are real small,so id might be even more difficult in an allready hard to distinguish group.

Do you see Carinotetraodon lorteti more often than Carinotetraodon irrubesco on the other side of the pond?

How rare or soughtafter are Carinotetraodon lorteti ?
